Finding a Language

Starting a conversation with the people of Oxfordshire about death and dying. A Sobell House event in support of Dying Matters week.

At Sobell House we use a range of media to facilitate discussion about death and dying. Often music, songs, art, poetry are used with patients to express feelings, reflect on important moments in life, and to leave a legacy for close ones.

This event at Christ Church is the second in our series Finding a Language. It is aimed at anyone who is interested in exploring the various means that people use to talk about death and dying, whether they are personally affected by illness, caring for someone who is, or working with people who have a life-limiting diagnosis.

Places are limited so please make sure to book your free place.

The event will be opened by Philip Selway, singer-songwriter and Radiohead drummer.
