The Sobell House Lights of Love ceremony is a chance to come together to celebrate the lives of our loved ones, and to remember the special times spent together.
It is an opportunity to gather with others who have experienced bereavement, and everyone is welcome. The ceremony includes the switching on of our Lights of Love Tree, which is a really special moment where the tree glows with hundreds of tiny lights shining in memory of our loved ones.
- Opening address by Professor Bee Wee, Interim Clinical Lead
- Carols by Steventon Choral Society accompanied by the Jubilee Brass Band
- Singing by our music therapist Tom Crook and singer/songwriter Nikki Petherick
- The switching on of our Lights of Love Tree
- Chaplain’s closing address
We will be serving mulled wine and mince pies.
