It is with great sadness that we’ve had to make the difficult decision cancel our Light the Night Bicester event due to be held on Saturday 28 March
We appreciate this is disappointing for all involved but want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly.
As the week has gone on, it seems increasingly likely that the Government will move the UK into the ‘delay phase’ with regards to COVID-19, which could then put mass participation events at risk of being cancelled. We wanted to wait and see, however, if we waited until next week and then had to cancel we would then have incurred higher cancellation charges with our event suppliers.
In the best interests of the organisation, our patients and our supporters we felt we had no option but to cancel at this stage, and we hope you understand.
As we are cancelling this event we are giving all our participants the following options:
- Transfer of your entry to our Light the Night Oxford 10K walk on Saturday 5th September 2020.
- Donate your entry fee to Sobell House
- A full refund (please note we are unable to refund the purchase of any glow merchandise.)
