Here are a few ideas of how you can get involved:
Whether you’re a Winter Walker, Light the Nighter, Weekend Rambler, or Three Peaks Challenger, we want to hear from you.
Form your own walking group, challenge yourself on a classic route/climb, or set yourself a target of steps for a year. The choice is yours, just let us be a part of it.
Human beings are designed to run, and whatever type of running appeals there is a race out there for you.
From 5k to a marathon we would love you to don the highly sought after Sobell running vest.
We’ll be on hand throughout with advice on fundraising and training to make sure that you have a fantastic race-day experience.
For some a marathon distance just isn’t enough, and whether you choose to run it or walk it there are a number of LONG distance events out there.
From the Race to the Stones, or the Race to the King, London to Brighton or the Thames Path Challenge. Walk it solo or as part of a group.
For those looking for a true life changing experience, hike the Great Wall of China, trek through the Sahara, or climb Kilimanjaro.
If you want to see the world and help Sobell House contact us in the charity office.
Swim Oxford’s Classic Mile will return for 2019, and as the chosen charity for the event it would be wonderful to have a huge team take to the Thames for Sobell House.
Last year’s mile, from Donnington Bridge to Christchurch Meadow, was a fantastic experience (and the cake was good too) and we can’t wait to share it with you in 2018
Whichever event you choose please feel free to contact us on 01865 857012 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
