Using a computer, tablet or smartphone, you are now able to take a Google 360 tour to explore Sobell House and view our facilities. Why not have a look around?
You can start at the main entrance in the window below and explore. Further down this page are windows that show particular areas of Sobell House.
Our reception is bright and airy with comfortable seating and a selection of magazines. The reception desk is staffed by our lovely receptionist, Shireen, with support from our wonderful volunteers. Next to the main entrance is a small charity shop that sells a selection of new and second hand items. Near the entrance to the Day Centre, there are two display cabinets filled with items made by two members of staff (a share of the profits from these items goes to the charity).
There is always a great, friendly atmosphere in our Day Centre with plenty going on from quiet chats to musical performances and plenty more!
Our ever popular jacuzzi bathroom can be used by visitors to the Day Centre. You can relax and pamper yourself with assisted bathing and beauty therapies!
Our ward provides 18 beds, nine of which are single rooms and the rest organised in three rooms with three beds in each. The corridor is gently curved with a high glazed ceiling, which makes for a light and spacious environment. Each room opens onto a small outside terrace for fresh air and views of the garden, which are lovingly tended by our volunteers.
Side Room on the Ward
In the window below, you can explore one of our side rooms. Each bed has a radio, TV and a telephone. Arrangements can be made to allow access to the internet.
Complete with en suite loo...
Our ward lounge is a place where visitors can rest, watch TV, meet others or take a break. Tea and coffee making facilities are available 24 hours a day. Our gardens are available for use by patients and visitors.
Many thanks to Nikhilesh Haval from the company Nikreations who created this wonderful Google 360 tour of Sobell House.
