Senior Occupational Therapist

Salary: Band 6: £28,050 to £36,644 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Occupational Therapist who would like to work with patients receiving palliative care and patients with long term conditions, to join our multi-professional team in Sobell House. Sobell House is an NHS hospice within the Oxford University Hospitals Trust specially designed to provide care and support for patients with advanced incurable disease along with their families. It’s work is enhanced through the support of the Sobell House Hospice Charity.

PA Coordinator to the Palliative Care Consultants at Sobell House

Salary: Band 4: £20,150 - £23,363 per annum

Permanent. Minimum 30 hours per week

We are looking of for an experienced PA to join the team at Sobell House working with the Palliative Care Consultant team. We are looking for someone with an excellent range of administrative skills, who is able to demonstrate good communication and organisation, along with a flexible approach to duties.

The successful applicant must be self- motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to multi task and to meet deadlines. You must have experience of working as a PA and/or medical secretary at a senior level as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software packages, and taking minutes.

The applicant will be expected to cover for other admin team members during periods of sickness or leave at Sobell.

The vacancy is for a minimum of 30hrs p/w up to 37.5 hrs p/w, and you would be expected to work on a Friday

Lottery Fundraiser

Local Hospice Lottery works on behalf of Sobell House charity to raise charitable funds through their Lottery scheme. They are recruiting for a Lottery Fundraiser to represent Sobell House. As a Lottery Fundraiser you’ll be responsible for signing people up to play the Local Hospice Lottery for Sobell House. 

This year we expect to raise over £200,000 through the Local Hospice Lottery, so it’s a very important source of income for the hospice. 

Both employed & self-employed roles come with an attractive financial package.
