This year’s Moonlight Stroll will be on 19th August and we are taking it back to the essence of what Sobell House stands for, caring for people at the end of their life with compassion and dignity, and remembering our loved ones along the way. We want you to celebrate the memories of your loved ones and create some new ones along the way.
The Moonlight Stroll is a nine(ish) mile walk through the streets of Oxford, taking in our beautiful and historic city by moonlight.
It continues to be our largest public event and a source of vital funds for the charity and we’d love to have you join us for 2017.
Time is running out to sign up for this year’s Moonlight Stroll, and to make it even easier to join Sobell House at their biggest fundraiser of the year, we’ve decided to drop the price of the event!
So all places have been reduced to just £25 (you choose if you would like to raise additional sponsorship, make a donation or just walk, but of course we’d like you to raise as much as you can).
Sign Up Now!
You can set up your online fundraising page as part of the sign up process or set it up separately at www.justgiving.com
Of course we’d love it if everyone could raise money in addition to walking, whichever type of sign up you use, it helps us to help people like Julia
With more people of retirement age and a significant increase of over 85’s living in Oxfordshire, we know that more people will also die in the county with more complex symptoms and needs than at present. Our building needs to be adapted to the needs of this group of patients. All the funds raised this year will directly go towards helping us build the new Sobell Clinic and Garden Annex ensuring our facilities are suited to the needs of the next generation of patients, whilst also allowing us to increase our scope and the number of patients we can support throughout our existing hospital teams.

Your support is invaluable to us and we hope that you’ll be there with us on the 19th August, and help us create some new Sobell Memories.
