Oxford Charity Firewalk 2017
‘I walked on fire for Sobell House Hospice a few years ago. The training we had before made me feel as though I could achieve anything.I felt so euphoric afterwards. It was amazing and I wanted to do it again. To anyone who is not sure if they should sign up - I would say DO IT!’ Rachel Harper
We are joining forces with SeeSaw and Maggie’s Centre to challenge supporters to brave the heat of the Oxford Charity Firewalk!
We want 30 of you to get involved in this fun and daring challenge for Sobell- minimal training required! Firewalking today is a powerful tool designed to help transform fear and inspire people to do the things that initially they think are impossible.
The event will be overseen by Bigger, Brighter, Bolder
who will provide a top notch motivational talk before you step afoot the glowing coals.
‘The only limitation on what is achievable is what is imaginable and believable’
Registration will be from 4.30pm, the great fire will be lit at 5.30pm, with the aim for the walk to take place at 7.30pm. It is set to be a great evening, with lots to offer for an entertaining family night out.
Entertainment confirmed so far are our loyal supporters The Didcot Divas- an all female singing group who perform a variety of genres and have great fun whilst doing it- and Armaleggan, a Border Morris dance group with added Grrrr.
For more information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01865 857008 or simply fill in the application form and send it to us here at the Sobell House Charity Office in Headington.
