The first step to becoming a volunteer at Sobell House is to complete and submit an application form.

How to apply

The first step to becoming a volunteer at Sobell House is to complete and submit an application form.

We will then contact you to discuss your application, and if suitable, arrange a volunteer interview.

In line with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust standards, volunteers who will be undertaking roles within the grounds of Sobell House are required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service on-line application. The level of this will depend on which role you will be undertaking and will be at no personal cost.

Volunteers will also be asked to provide two references and complete a health assessment form. We need to establish if you have any health problems that could affect your ability to undertake a particular volunteering role. Adjustments to your role or help with your volunteering can be offered as required.

For roles based within Sobell House volunteers are in general required to be 18 years of age or over.

If you have any questions about volunteering at Sobell House, or need any help with the volunteer application form, please contact us by e-mail or on Tel: 01865 225860.
